From the imperial medina of Fes through the Middle Atlas, Ziz Valley, Rissani, Merzouga, Dades, Todra, Ait Ben Haddou, and into Marrakech. A complete south Morocco circuit — one-way, no retracing routes.
Our most balanced route from Marrakech to the Sahara. One extra day over the 3-day version makes a genuine difference — proper time in both the Dades Gorge and Todra Canyon, without a punishing final driving day.
Two nights in the Merzouga dunes. Proper time in Dades and Todra. No rushed driving days. For travelers who want to feel the Sahara rather than just pass through it. The journey that most travelers wish they had chosen once they've done a shorter version.
A premium version of the Merzouga experience — premium riads along the route, the best available camp in the Erg Chebbi area, more time at each stop, and a slower overall pace designed around comfort rather than mileage.
Starting from Casablanca or Mohamed V Airport, this route builds in time in Marrakech before the Sahara push south. The distance from Casablanca adds 2.5–3 hours of travel. We plan this honestly to avoid punishing driving days.

Build My Sahara RouteIt's possible — but expect long driving days (7–9 hours of road time each day). Best for travelers with a genuine time constraint who understand the trade-off. If you can add one day, we recommend it.
This is our recommended minimum for the Marrakech-Sahara route. More balanced driving days, proper time at Dades and Todra, and a less rushed experience at Erg Chebbi.
The 5-day slow journey gives you two nights in Merzouga — sunrise, sunset, and a full day at the dunes. A meaningfully different experience from a single night.
The Fes-to-Marrakech circuit is ideal — you fly into one city, travel the south in one direction, and fly home from the other. Efficient and complete. Casablanca adds road time — plan 5-7 days minimum.
Send your travel window and group size. We'll tell you which route makes sense for your time, honestly.
